Terms

The agreement between you and us. Last updated 18 August 2026.

Who you are contracting with

wedlery is operated by Burak Sengür. Contact details are in the imprint. These terms apply to the person who creates a gallery. Guests who scan a QR code are not party to them and are not asked to agree to anything.

What the service is

You create a gallery, print a QR code, and your guests upload photos and videos from their phones into one shared gallery you control. You can hide anything, at any time, and download every original.

Plans and price

The free plan holds up to 30 photos, no video, and is kept for 30 days after the wedding. The Complete plan is CHF 49 once — unlimited photos and videos, kept for 12 months from your wedding date. Prices include Swiss VAT where it applies.

It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. There is no card on file and nothing is ever charged automatically. When the 12 months are nearly up we offer CHF 19 for another 12 months, which you buy the same way or ignore.

How long we keep your gallery

This is the commitment the whole product rests on, so it is stated plainly: the deletion date only ever moves later. Nothing we do, and nothing you do, shortens storage you have already been promised — including a refund, which returns your money and leaves the date untouched.

We email you well before that date, more than once, and again when it passes. Files are deleted only after a further 30-day grace period and only once we can show that a warning actually reached your inbox. What we do not promise is “forever”: a perpetual obligation against a one-time payment is one we could not keep.

Your guests' content, and your responsibility

Anyone holding the link can add photos. That is the point, and it means the link should be shared the way you would share the party. You are responsible for who you give it to and for what ends up in your gallery; you can hide anything instantly from your phone, and revoke a code and issue a new one if one goes astray.

You must not use wedlery for content that is unlawful, that you have no right to share, or that depicts someone in a way they have not agreed to. Tell your guests that photographs they upload will be visible to everyone else at the party.

We may remove content and suspend a gallery where we are required to, or where it is plainly being used for something other than a wedding. We do not otherwise look at your photographs.

Refunds and the right to withdraw

Your gallery works the moment you pay, which is normally what you want. By paying you ask us to start immediately and accept that, once the upgraded gallery is available to you, a statutory right of withdrawal for digital content no longer applies.

That said: if something is wrong, write to us. We would rather refund you than argue. A refund returns the plan to the free limits and, as above, does not shorten the storage period you were already promised.

Availability

We run this on one server and watch it, but we do not offer a service level guarantee. Uploads are designed to survive a bad venue connection: they go up in pieces and resume rather than failing.

Keep your own copy. Download your originals when the party is over. It takes one click, and it is the only thing that makes you independent of us.

Liability

We are liable for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health, without limitation. Otherwise our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the gallery concerned. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be limited by agreement.

Ending it

You can ask us to delete your gallery or your account at any time and we will. We may close an account that breaches these terms. If we discontinue the service we will give you notice and time to download everything first.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that affects you, we will email the address on your account. Changes never apply retroactively to a gallery you have already paid for.

Law

Swiss law applies and the courts at our registered seat have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules in your own country of residence.
